Ad Art Submissions: If you do not have camera-ready or electronic artwork, please allow us to create it for you. Our full-service graphics department offers logo creation services, copywriting, editing and layout design, photography, copy editing and high resolution proofs, printing and production.

Ad Artwork Requirements: (All ads are black plus one color)
All electronic artwork submissions must be in the form of a Macintosh-compatible file. Acceptable file formats are (in order of preference): Adobe Acrobat (PDF), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adode InDesign, EPS, TIFF, and PDF. JPEG files are acceptable, but not recommended due to lower image quality. If you are using Quark XPress, save your artwork as a high resolution PDF. If sending a native Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign file, inlcude all linked support files AND fonts. Artwork may be submitted by email, USB Flash Drive, or on CD. Any missing support files will result in a delay in processing your ad artwork.

Important Information: All supplied artwork must be rendered in pure black and pure magenta to be acceptable. No RGB or CMYK files may be used. Contact us if you require further information. Photographs should be scanned at no less than 300DPI and 100% of their size. They should be saved in EPS or TIFF format only.

Fonts: Use Postscript, Type 1 fonts: include both screen and printer fonts. If a font collection program is used, be sure to include any fonts that were used in support files such as an Illustrator EPS, as these are not always collected. To help avoid font problems when sending Illustrator EPS files, convert all fonts to outlines prior to submission.

Color Usage: Pure black and pure magenta ONLY. The magenta will be replaced with the color being used for the current issue.

Line Art: 170DPI
